Branding the Jedi traitors to the Republic, Darth Sidious executed Order 66, a secret protocol coded into the neural chips of the Republic army’s clone troopers to eliminate the Jedi. In an instant, they turned on their Jedi generals across the galaxy and brought them down. Darth Vader, tasked with the destruction of the Jedi Order, marched

Don't just hammer the attack button(Image credit: EA/Lucasfilm)It might be tempting to hit the Square/B constantly when you first start taking enemies on, but that's going to leave you incredibly open to enemy attacks. Instead, look to block and parry attacks as much possible. Blocking will ensure you won't take any damage from most attacks, while parrying will create an opportunity for a one hit kill (or at least take off a large chunk of damage).2. If an enemy glows red, attack or dodge (Image credit: EA Games)Enemies that glow red are showing you that they're about to do a massive, unblockable attack. Bad news, right? Not necessarily, as in the wind-up to them, they're vulnerable to attacks. Some you'll be able to land a few blows on, cancelling their attack. Others, you can use force powers to interrupt their animation and land a few strikes on them. If you're in doubt though, dodge away as fast as possible. 3. You can use health stims while blocking(Image credit: EA Games)If you just press up on the D-Pad when asking BD-1 for a health stim, you'll be leaving Cal open to an attack from enemies. However, if you hold down the block button, then request a stim, he'll automatically block any incoming attacks. You might have to request the stim again, as the block interrupts the healing, but it's better than dying while waiting for Cal to heal up. 4. Use your Force powers as much as possible (Image credit: EA)Because your Force powers are tied to a meter, it's easy to think you should save them until you absolutely have to use them. Ignore this impulse. Cal's Force powers can easily turn the tide of a fight, and the meter ticks up quickly if you get a few direct hits in, so make sure to keep using Slow, Push, and Pull in combat as much as possible. 5. Save at every Meditation spot you see(Image credit: EA)Meditation spots are the game's save points and checkpoints. They act like the bonfires in Dark Souls, giving you a chance to rest up and acquire upgrades from the skill tree. However, always make sure you stop off at them, as you respawn at the last one you sat down at when you die. Nothing stings more than spending 20 minutes exploring a level, dying, and respawning ages away from where you got to. 6. Invest in increasing your Survival and Force powers early on(Image credit: EA Games)The Skill tree has 3 branches: Lightsaber, Force, and Survival. Lightsaber attacks all require your Force meter to use, so focusing on the other two - which can increase your max health and max force - will help you survive early encounters. 7. Look for alternate paths rather than assuming you've hit a block(Image credit: EA Games)BD-1's holomap highlights areas you can't explore just yet with a red hologram. This usually indicates when you need to unlock a new skill before you get into that are, but sometimes, it indicates a shortcut in the level. Have a poke around these areas to see if there's a hidden passage that can open them up. 8. Revisit planets when you unlock new abilities(Image credit: EA Games)You'll unlock new abilities for Cal and BD-1 constantly throughout your time in Fallen Order, and as soon as you do, you should head back to planets you've already visited. You'll be able to discover more in these areas almost immediately, which you'll get more XP for. More XP means you'll get more powers quicker as well, so make sure you're heading back as soon as you unlock new abilities. 9. Know when to use different lightsaber types(Image credit: EA Games)There are two main lightsaber types in Fallen Order; you'll start off with the single saber and unlock the double-ended blade later on in the game. Knowing when to use them will make a huge difference to how effective you are in combat. If you're fighting a handful of enemies, use the single saber, as it does more damage when you connect with an enemy. However, if you're fighting a big crowd or facing multiple stormtroopers with blasters, use the double blade. Deflecting multiple blaster bolts with it sees Cal send them all back quickly, while he'll only deflect one back with the single lightsaber before blocking. 10. Head to Dathomir early on to get the double lightsaber(Image credit: EA Games)After your first visit to Bogano, you'll have the choice of which planet to head to. While the game will heavily hint that Zeffo is the one to go for, there are plenty of handy upgrades you can get on Dathomir that will speed up your progress. The most important is the double lightsaber, which you'll be able to find if you follow the main path through the level to a hooded figure. Nab it as soon as possible. 11. Hunt out Sense Echoes for healthy XP boosts(Image credit: EA Games)Sense Echoes are items that Cal can discover that reveal a glimpse of the past to him. More importantly, they also give a fair chunk of XP when you find them. Some even give you a health or force boost if you collect 3 of them. They're worth hunting out for the XP boost, but the fact the stories attached to them are interesting in their own right just sweetens the deal. 12. Performance Mode is there if you want it(Image credit: EA Games)The PS4 Pro and Xbox One X versions of the game have a Performance Mode that can be turned on in the Visuals tab in the Options menu. It limits the resolution to 1080p, but improves the framerate of the game. A combat-heavy game like this benefits from a higher framerate, which makes the action smoother, so it's something to consider if you're willing to drop down the resolution. Once on top Download Game Guide PDF, ePUB & iBooks Free iOS App May the lightsabre be with you Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Guide is a compendium of knowledge about this Star Wars game. The first chapter contains starting tips and explanation of basics, while the second is FAQ. Finaly, the complete walkthrough. Last update: Thursday, January 9, 2020 Unofficial guide to the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order game contains a complete set of information necessary to max out the game. Our textbook was divided into three large parts. The first of them is the game guide, which offers useful tips at the start, discusses the topics of combat, exploration and character development, as well as answers to frequently asked questions (FAQ). You can learn, among other things, how to acquire new Force skills, what happens after the death of the protagonist, how to heal the character, how to permanently increase the health and Force bars, or how to quickly advance to higher levels of experience. Another big part of our guide is an extensive walkthrough of the game. It accurately describes all the steps needed to advance in the main storyline: PrologueChapter 1 BoganoChapter 2 ZeffoChapter 2 Tomb of EilramChapter 3 KashyyykChapter 3 Return to ZeffoChapter 3 Tomb of MiktrullChapter 4 The PrisonChapter 4 Return to KashyyykChapter 4 The Ninth Sister and leaving KashyyykChapter 5 DathomirChapter 5 Gorgara and the Tomb of KujetChapter 5 IlumChapter 5 Return to Dathomir and fighting with MalicosChapter 6 Return to BoganoChapter 6 Fortress InquisitoriusThe important information in this case is that in separate chapters we have described the most difficult environmental puzzles and boss battles: The Second Sister, Oggdo Bogdo, AT-ST, Albino Wyyyschokk (Kashyyyk), Security Droid (Kashyyyk), Rabid Jotaz (Zeffo), The Second Sister (Zeffo), Crusher Hagop (Zeffo), Crusher Hagop - arena battles, The Ninth Sister, Gorgara, Nydak Alpha (Dathomir), Taron Malicos. They should be very useful if you are just looking for a solution to a very specific problem and do not necessarily have to read the walkthrough of the entire level. The third large chapter of the guide was devoted entirely to collectibles. First of all, we inform you about places where you can find chests and secrets. In some cases, you may need to have, for instance, certain Force skills and those requirements were included in our description. In addition to the three main chapters listed above, we have also prepared a trophy guide with detailed descriptions of all achievements, as well as pages containing controls and hardware requirements. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is an action adventure game whose plot takes place between the third and fourth episode of the movie saga. In the game, we take on the role of the former Padawan Cal Kestis, who falls into the sights of the Empire after it turns out that he controls the Force. The game puts a lot of emphasis on exploring partially open locations and engaging in battles with stormtroopers, bounty hunters or hostile fauna from subsequently visited planets. The production was designed specifically for the single player campaign. However, that does not mean Cal cannot count on any help. The main character travels through the galaxy together with friendly characters and is accompanied by a small droid endowed with unique abilities. Yes, the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order game only offers a single player mode. You will not find any multiplayer (online or local) modes here and there is no possibility to play missions in cooperative mode. Cal is accompanied by the BD-1 droid, although he does not take direct control of it. The Droid is automatically activated, for example, when it finds something interesting in the vicinity or when it receives a command to heal the main character. Does Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order have microstransactions? Fortunately, no. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order doesn't have any microtransactions, boosters, loot boxes, nor any other elements that may require additional purchase. All cosmetic items (new outfits, skins, Stinger Mantis paint jobs, etc.) are earned for free - by exploring the locations and opening loot chests or advancing in the main storyline. Does the game have a long campaign? Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order offers quite a lot of content for a title of the action adventure genre. It should take you over a dozen hours to finish the game for the first time. The final result can be influenced by how much time you spend on additional activities, such as full exploration of available planets or battling additional bosses. More information about the length of the game can be found in a separate chapter of this guide - How long does it take to complete the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order game? Do opponents in the game respawn? Yes, the enemies can respawn and the mechanic works similarly to, for instance, the games from the Dark Souls franchise. The enemies will revive after you use the rest option in one of the meditation points, that is, places used to restore health and Force, save the state of the game and allocate character development points. It is worth noting that the game respawns "only " ordinary opponents, such as regular stormtroopers or monsters living on different planets. There is no revival of defeated bosses. Does the game have a completely open world? No, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order does not have a completely open world, but despite all that provides quite a lot of freedom of action. During the game, you can focus only on following the main storyline or exploring the surroundings to find, for instance, a new loot or lairs of additional bosses. The game was built on the principle of so-called metroidvania, and so many of the discovered places are initially unavailable and you have to wait until you progress in the story and acquire new abilities and/or gadgets. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order allows you to travel between different planets on the galaxy map. Also in this case, you can choose between focusing on the main plot and additional exploration. The game, of course, allows you to return to previously visited planets. Does the game run smoothly on consoles? The following guide for the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order game was prepared based on the PS4 and PC versions. The console version worked correctly most of the time. When we played on the regular version of the PlayStation 4 console, we had minor glitches and sudden animation slowdowns, most likely caused by the loading of new locations and textures in the background. They were not very burdensome. More information about the game and its technological aspects can be found in the Hardware Requirements chapter of this guide. Is it possible to disable chromatic aberration in the game? Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has the chromatic aberration filter active by default. Technology has its supporters, but also ardent opponents. Fortunately, aberration can be disabled using the game's graphics settings, and this is also the case for the console version. Console editions also allow you to get rid of the Motion Blur and Film Grain effects. Why doesn't the hero want to climb? This is a potential problem that you might encounter during your playthrough of the game. Climbing in the game is not fully automated, Cal can not start it without giving him the appropriate command. If you encounter an interactive wall, after approaching it, you must additionally press the button to climb onto objects on the wall (rods, plants, etc.) - in the console versions, press the L2 / left trigger button to do so. Skipping this step will cause the main character to land back on the ground or, in extreme cases, fall into the abyss. Why can't I open the holomap? This is a minor problem that you may encounter while completing the first part of the first chapter on the Bogano planet. When you try to open the holomap, a message will appear that BD-1 droid is busy. The solution to this problem is very simple - focus on the main story and temporarily skip the optional exploration of the planet in order to reach the location where the scene with BD-1 will initiate. Cal will fix the friendly droid. BD-1 will jump on his back. From this moment you will be able to use the holomap and additional ask BD-1 for treatment. Can you beat the Second Sister in the prologue? The first confrontation with the Second Sister takes place in the final part of the prologue. Cal can't beat her because this is part of the plot. The fight with the Second Sister ends automatically after the main character loses all health points or when we fight her for a certain period of time. In both cases, we will watch a cut-scene during which the main character escapes in a spaceship. More about the first duel with the Second Sister in our walkthrough for the prologue. Does the game have challenging puzzles? Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has a lot of puzzles, but they aren't very challenging. It is worth noting that not all puzzles are mandatory. Some of them are related to additional content and can be skipped. The game can offer you tips to quickly solve a given puzzle. Check the chapters dedicated to Tombs and Puzzles where we have covered in detail all the most difficult environmental puzzles. In the further part of the campaign, you unlock the diving ability. Exploration of underwater areas allows you to reach new collectibles and locations that were previously inaccessible to Cal. Is it possible to continue the game after the main campaign is over? Yes, you can keep playing further. After you have watched all final cutscenes and ending credits, you will return to the main menu. You can select the option to continue the game. You will return to the Mantis, specifically to the moment before the final events of the game. You will not be able to travel to the last location of the campaign, but fortunately there are no secrets in this area. You can travel back to all other planets to find collectibles and participate in other side activities. Can you swim in the game? Yes, Cal can swim and falling or getting into the water won't cause a sudden death of your character. You need to swim to reach some areas of the main story. Other water reservoirs may allow you to find valuable collectibles. Please note that some tanks or reservoirs are filled with poisonous substances. They should be avoided at all costs, because the main character will instantly die when he accidentally falls into one of them. Are there romances in the game? No, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order doesn't have any romances. During the course of the campaign, the main character befriends Nightsister Merrin. Although the characters like each other, their relationship doesn't go beyond friendship. Cal's another friend is Cere. In this case, the woman is more like the protagonist's mentor and "unofficial" master. Cere will appoint Cal a Jedi Knight when she decides that he is ready. Is it possible to control vehicles in the game? With one exception, unfortunately not. When you visit Kashyyyk for the first time, you will pilot an AT-AT. This is, unfortunately, is a scripted scene - you have to follow a linear route and focus only on shooting at targets. Cal can't use any small vehicles to, explore the planets. You need to travel on foot. Does Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order have difficult platinum trophy? The platinum trophy in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order isn't too hard, though getting it can be quite time-consuming. This is due to the fact that you have to find the vast majority of the collectibles as well as fully discover all the maps. This can lead to a situation where you miss a single secret that is difficult to find. You can, however, complete the game on any difficulty level, including the easiest one where fights don't cause any problems. In addition, the game allows you to change the difficulty level at any time. Unlocking all the trophies/achievements can take you more than 30 hours. All the basic information about the trophies/achievements are in our trophy/achievement guide. Fallen Order can be frustrating game as its difficulty settings are rather imbalanced. I played the game on Jedi Master difficulty, 2nd hardest, and the game was a struggle a lot of the time. It was not really because of how difficult enemies were but because the control system is not as sharp and responsive as Dark Souls. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order follows the adventures of protagonist Cal, one of the few Jedi Padawans to escape Order 66 during Episode III - Revenge of the Sith. Cal attempts to rebuild the Jedi Order in the face of the Empire's terror, in what promises to be a narrative-driven action adventure experience. Information on the game was first released in Spring 2019 with more trailers and information given at EA Play in June 2019. With a release date of November 15, 2019, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is being published by EA and developed by Respawn Entertainment, the same studio who previously developed the Titanfall franchise. It is also available as a Director's Cut edition with behind the scenes features and additional cosmetic equipment. From the official EA pre-order page: "A galaxy-spanning adventure awaits in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order™, a new third-person action-adventure title from Respawn Entertainment. This narratively-driven single-player game puts you in the role of a Jedi Padawan who narrowly escaped the purge of Order 66 following the events of Star Wars™: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith™. On a quest to rebuild the Jedi Order, you must pick up the pieces of your shattered past to complete your training, develop new powerful Force abilities, and master the art of the iconic lightsaber - all while staying one step ahead of the Empire and its deadly Inquisitors. DELUXE EDITION Get the story behind the game with the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order™ Deluxe Edition featuring a "Director's Cut" suite of behind-the-scenes features and content as well as additional unique cosmetic equipment for your adventure. Pre-order the Deluxe Edition to also receive all of the pre-order bonus content." Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is set to release November 15, 2019, published by EA. It will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Origin. 3qCSZT.
